Various Pictures

Hiking through the desert up to Kibo hut! Lots and lots of cold hail.

The whole group at the Horombo huts. Guides and all!

I did it! 19,344 feet...one of the happiest moments of my life.

After reaching the summit, we started the hike back down to Kibo.

Hiking down (and shaking!) from Gillman's point after reaching the summit. This was incredibly terrifying. It was so much easier when it was dark and we didn't know how far we had to fall!

About 3 hours from the gate on the way down. Two filthy, exhausted girls. We were very clumsy and got many mouthfuls of African dirt.
